- Senior Physiotherapist - Part-Time - Multi-Disciplinary Sports Clinic
Description
Are you a senior physiotherapist who can hold a list, lift a team, and actually enjoys both?
This is a part-time opportunity for an experienced physio who's ready to bring their best clinical work to a busy, multi-disciplinary clinic — and help shape the physios coming up behind them.
If you take real pride in patient outcomes, you've got the experience to back it up, and you genuinely like teaching as much as treating — keep reading.
ABOUT YOU
You're not just a senior physiotherapist, you're someone patients come back to and stick with. You know how to build and maintain a strong caseload, you back your clinical reasoning, and you've still got the humility to keep learning. Your impact goes beyond your own treatment list — you make the whole team better.
Please ONLY apply for this role if you're ready to mentor, run great group sessions, and deliver consistently excellent musculoskeletal care.
- Solid private practice and MSK experience, with a proven ability to hold and maintain a busy list
- You enjoy teaching — you'll be helping two physios with 4 to 6 years' experience plus one new graduate find their feet
- You're committed to continued learning and open to retention training from our director
- You buy into team and culture, not just your own room
- You're confident running group classes
- AHPRA registered, with a physiotherapy degree and current professional indemnity insurance
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Senior Physiotherapist at ACE Sports Medicine, here's what you'll be responsible for:
- Delivering 1:1 musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy across a varied caseload
- Building and maintaining your own loyal patient list, with continuity of care at the centre
- Mentoring our physio team — two clinicians at 4 to 6 years' experience and one new graduate
- Running group classes across our facilities, including Physiolates and Better Bones and Balance
- Working alongside our exercise physiology, podiatry, dietetics and psychology team on shared patients
- Coming on board with our retention approach, with training and support direct from the director
- Hours: Part-time, 22 to 28 hours per week, with some flexibility on days and times. Indicative pattern: Monday morning and mid-afternoon, Wednesday midday and evening, Thursday morning and midday.
WHAT YOU'LL GET WHEN YOU JOIN ACE SPORTS MEDICINE
- Mentoring and Retention Training From the Director – You'll get structured support and retention training direct from Joshua Wall, plus the room to keep developing your own clinical craft.
- A Generous CPD Budget – We back your growth with real investment in your professional development and ongoing learning.
- A True Multi-Disciplinary Team – Refer across exercise physiology, podiatry, dietetics and sports psychology, all under one roof. You're never managing a complex patient alone.
- Facilities Most Clinics Can't Offer – You won't be stuck in a treating room. You'll have a hydrotherapy pool, a full gym, and the space to do real, active rehab the way it should be done.
- Free Hibiscus Gym and Pool Access – Use the full Hibiscus Sports Complex gym and pools before or after your shifts. Your own training, sorted.
- Variety in Your Week – Three different group classes plus your 1:1 caseload means no two days feel the same.
- An Established Patient Base – You're stepping into a busy, award-winning clinic, not building a list from cold.
- Flexible Part-Time Hours – 22 to 28 hours a week, with genuine flex to fit your life.
- Salary Based on Experience – We back senior people and pay accordingly.
