Aquatic & Land Physiotherapist at Hydrotherapy Brisbane - f/time or p/time
Do you want to work in a great team where we make a difference to people's lives?
We require a full time or part-time physiotherapists mainly in paediatric and adult neurological areas. We open early and finish late so your hours will likely cover a share of these.
We are a unique, Brisbane (Aspley) based practice with a focus on Aquatic Physiotherapy. Our facilities include 2 state of the art hydrotherapy pools (34 and 31 deg) that allows us to offer aquatic services across the breadth of aquatic clinical practice, complemented by a land rehab gym and treatment areas. Aquatic services remain our focus.
Our physios work across many areas of practice, including neurological, paediatric and disability populations, acute and chronic conditions, musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, rheumatology, aged care, pain management.
You will be taking over and building on an existing caseload with many neurological paediatric, adolescent and adult patients.
We offer primarily individual treatment but also some balance, arthritis, antenatal, fitness and deep water running classes.
We also empower and encourage our clients to use the facility for ongoing self-management where safe and possible.
There are land treatment and land/neuro gym opportunities (including Lite-Gait) to support your aquatic practices.

Requirements
The successful candidate should:
Have some aquatic experience or have a genuine interest in learning on site from a great team of experienced physios.
Have the ability to manage part of our existing client base and to add to it by developing a loyal caseload
Have the ability to manage and problem solve a diverse caseload.
Have proven excellent verbal, communication and report writing skills.
Enjoy working within a team but be independently motivated.
Have a strong interest in neurological physiotherapy and rehabilitation for kids and adults.
Display a commitment to improving your knowledge and clinical skills.
Have all professional accreditations and certificates as required by AHPRA and various funding bodies.
