- New Graduate Physiotherapist
Description
The role :
As a new graduate physiotherapist your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities aimed at helping your clients recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, and improve their overall physical well-being. There is a great mix of both one-on-one and group classes within the roster.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and apply sound clinical reasoning skills in the diagnosis of a variety of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions
Create tailored treatment plans to address client’s conditions, taking into account their age, fitness levels and any other medical conditions
Apply a range of physiotherapy techniques to address discovered conditions
Develop rapport with clients to build a relationship of trust and mutual respect
Create and maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies
Communicate openly and professionally with staff at all levels, including other therapists, administrators, directors, nurses, doctors and care staff
Requirements
Required competencies:
Formal qualifications as a physiotherapist
Full registration with Australia Health Practitioners Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
Membership with the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA)
Ability to work independently
Exceptional documentation and caseload management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent time management skills
Sound clinical reasoning, skills and knowledge
