The Opportunity
We are seeking to increase our team of health and disability professionals who perform Ongoing Support Assessments (OSAs) and Supported Wage System (SWS) Assessments for the National Panel of Assessors in the following areas:
Greater Brisbane (north, south) and Gold Coast
Greater Perth
Greater Melbourne and surrounds (Bayside, Westgate, Calder, Plenty, Maroondah, Latrobe Valley) as well as Ballarat, Geelong, and Bendigo
Greater Adelaide and surrounds
These Contracting roles are as work demands and provide great flexibility to fit in with your current lifestyle. These roles operate under an ABN/invoice arrangement and training in the assessment tools and ongoing professional development and support will be provided. You will be paid per assessment completed plus travel allowance where applicable.
About you
Diploma or higher-level qualification in one of the following - physiotherapist, rehabilitation counsellor, occupational therapy, nurse, medical practitioner, psychologist/psychiatrist, orthoptics/optometry, audiology, exercise physiologist, vocational training or other diploma or higher-level qualification which is relevant to providing the required Assessments
Minimum 2 years' experience in conducting disability or employment- related assessments
Strong assessment skills
Strong report writing skills
Sound computer skills
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
Good interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to take direction
Demonstrated ability to negotiate with a range of stakeholders including the clients, nominees, employment services providers and employers
Drivers licence/ability to complete background checks
The Program
OSAs are used to determine the appropriate level of ongoing support that a participant (employee living with disability) needs to receive to maintain their employment. The purpose for a SWS Assessment is to determine a participant's productivity at work.

Work from home. Travel required to attend assessment locations. Travel typically <30 minutes. Travel allowance provided for longer travel.
