The Physiotherapy Centre is a multi-disciplinary Allied Health business providing physiotherapy, occupational therapy, exercise physiology and remedial massage services to the residents of the Southern Downs and Granite Belt regions. We offer in-rooms musculoskeletal physiotherapy treatment, as well as a number of more specialized services including:
• Pelvic floor and women’s health physiotherapy
• Pre- and post-operative rehabilitation
• Real-time ultrasound for core stabilization
• Hydrotherapy classes
• Balance classes for falls prevention
• Pilates classes for ladies and men
• Exercise Physiology
• Contract physiotherapy services to Residential Aged Care Facilities
Company History
The Physiotherapy Centre began as Warwick Physiotherapy Centre approximately 40 years ago. Current owners Joshua and Katie Hay purchased the business in 2009 and immediately commenced a program of development and expansion. Since 2009, the business has been rebranded as The Physiotherapy Centre and expanded from a 3-person business to a thriving multi-disciplinary Allied Health practice employing 7 physiotherapists, 2 occupational therapists, a massage therapist and 4 administration staff. In addition, the business has expanded across the Southern Downs region to now include clinics in Warwick, Stanthorpe and Inglewood, as well as contract service arrangements at Nursing Home facilities in Tenterfield, Stanthorpe and Allora.
