Physio Direct is a private musculoskeletal physiotherapy clinic covering a range of location in the Central North Island, New Zealand.
Physio Direct specialises in diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries including sports and work place injuries, muscle and joint strains/sprains, neck and back pain, surgical rehabilitation, acupuncture and massage.
Physio Direct is also a lead provider in the occupational health to provide Return to Work and Stay at Work programs for businesses and people who have an injury that prevents them being at work.
Company History
Physio Direct began when founder Amy Dibley realised that many small rural areas in New Zealand do not have an adequate physiotherapy service. Everyone should have the right to health services and bringing physiotherapy to these small communities has allowed this to happen.
Having grown up on a dairy farm in Ngongotaha on the outskirts of Rotorua, Amy understands the physical demands of a rural life. By bringing a physiotherapy service to these smaller rural areas, Physio Direct is able to offer these communities physiotherapy at THEIR doorstep. This allows people to been seen locally and stops long distance travel when time is already a limited factor. A lot of rural people put up with pain and discomfort, and now with Physio Direct operating in 7 areas, they no longer need to.
Benefits
41% remuneration, based on a per patient rate
Fully furnished accommodation will be provided for you on a shared basis, power/gas/internet will not be included.
There is a car available for use, but we do not cover petrol. You would have to cover your own insurances and vehicle services etc (I have a specific vehicle agreement) but in return you get to use the car for personal use also.
Most positions will be over a 4 day week however flexibility may be required at times. The job will still average 40 hours per week. This provides the benefit to you of a 3 day weekend for more adventure.
Physio Direct also provides you with a mobile phone & laptop for business use, however personal calls and internet usage is at your own cost.
