Company Overview
Orange Family Physiotherapy is located in Orange, NSW. The practice currently has 4.5 physiotherapists, full time admin support, and a casual therapy assistant. We have a very varied clientele, including musculoskeletal, sports, paediatrics (musc and developmental), women's and men's health, lymphoedema, NDIS, aged care and third party such as DVA and workcover. We provide appointments in the clinic, as well as doing outreach services and home visits. We are supportive of team members developing their own 'niche' even if it's not a service we currently provide.
Our team is very supportive and we have a focus of professional development and learning. We have a weekly in-service for learning and financial support to attend external events (up to $11500 annually including RDN funding).
We pride ourselves on providing a high quality physiotherapy service, one on one appointments in private clinic rooms, and longer appointment times (60 min initial / 30 min followup). We have scheduled admin time for therapists. We schedule team building activities during the year (think escape rooms and christmas games).
Orange is a vibrant regional City located 3.5 hours west of Sydney and 3 hours North of Canberra, with a population of 39,000. It is well known for its food and wine production. Orange is well serviced by excellent public and private schools and hospitals. There is a strong town centre and excellent health care available. From Orange you can fly via regional airlines direct to Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. There are trains / buses to Sydney and buses to Canberra as well.
Orange experiences all four seasons, and you can enjoy bulbs in spring, warm summers, brilliant Autumn colours and the occasional snow fall in winter. You can play any sport you like with winter and summer competitions, there are countless sporting clubs to join.
Everything is close and the traffic is light - no such thing as a long commute!
Company History
Orange Family Physiotherapy started in 2005 as "Erica Eccleston Physiotherapy". Erica originally worked as a contractor and doing home visits until opening an actual practice location in 2016. Since then the practice has grown, and has become less about Erica and more about the growing team - hence the name change to "Orange Family Physiotherapy" in 2018. This was also the year of the move to our new premises at 24 William Street.
