Melbourne Arthritis Specialist centre is the leading multidisciplinary musculoskeletal clinic, our head office is in Blackburn VIC. We treat all kinds of arthritis , Spinal pain, muscle & joint pain ,osteoporosis, gout, Auto immune diseases such as: RA and Lupus; and other musculoskeletal
and sport conditions.We offer Internal medicine, Orthopaedics, Rheumatology, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, laser therapy, Myotherapy, Dietitian, Geriatrics & Rehabilitation.
With a patient centred approach, our physiotherapists and patient make a treatment plan and goal. by using manual therapy, exercise prescription, electrotherapy, cold laser therapy, shockwave modality, taping and educating patients to manage and treat conditions such as chronic or acute pain, swelling, soft tissue injuries, sport injuries, arthritis, gait disorders, balance and physical impairments. At Melbourne arthritis we are running GLA'd program for hip and knee OA.
Physiotherapy is used to improve a patient's physical functions and quality of life. The main aim of physiotherapy is to make daily activities easier and less debilitating. Also, following sport injuries, rehabilitation is required to help athlete return to sport At our clinic we are privileged to have access to the latest technologies and equipment, allowing us to help people to recover faster and return to their optimal state of health as quickly as possible.
Company History
Melbourne arthritis was founded in 2014 by Dr Farshad Ghazanfari Musculoskeletal Consultant Physician and sport Physician in Ringwood east and Forest Hill.
The practice gradually built up and the Physiotherapy services has been commence from 2016. After many years this is now a well established organisation with multidisciplinary team who work towards best result for their patients.
MelbourneArthritis Specialist Centre moved to the new premisses in Blackburn in March 2023 and we are expanding our professional team.
