Hunter Physiotherapy - Salamander and Go Physio! Medowie and Nelson Bay are physiotherapy clinics in Salamander Bay, Medowie and Nelson bay in beautiful Port Stephens. We are 45-50 min north east of Newcastle and enjoy an amazing Bay location with a vibrant and growing local community.
Our Physios are committed physios who strive for optimal outcomes for all patients by keeping up to date with best practice therapy. We require ongoing education and encourage career progression of staff. We have a Sports Titled physio, as well as others with vast overseas experience.
As employers we believe in a positive work and life balance - we live in a stunning area with a lifestyle the envy of others so why not enjoy it? A healthy mind and body also tends to perform better at work, which is especially important when our goal is to assist others in reaching their optimal level of health and fitness.
As we have 3 clinics in the region we therefore comprise a diverse team of therapists. We have hand therapy, sports therapy, casting, Pilates, dry needling as well as general physiotherapy represented in the team. All of this is designed to offer patients their best avenue for a tailored and best-practice rehab so that they may achieve their health goals.
Company History
Hunter Physiotherapy - Salamander has been serving the Tomaree Peninsula and Port Stephens for over 20 years. Stephen Odgers and now Steve Royes have works with other physios to build a practice that is evidence informed and working always toward optimal outcomes for our community.
Soon we are moving to the Salamander Shopping Precinct, Hunter Physio is growing and changing - if you are not changing you cannot be improving!
We encourage all staff to stay at the cutting edge of physio and encourage all staff to extend and better themselves in whatever way helps them achieve optimum results. This is our commitment to our local community.
