Eastwood Physiotherapy is a private physiotherapy practice in the eastern city fringe of Adelaide , South Australia
Established in 1996 the Director and principal physiotherapist, John Barron and titled physiotherapist , Mark Jarrett
and Aquatic Physiotherapist , Fiona Mansfield provide assessment and treatment for Musculo-skeletal
and orthopaedic conditions.
The practice occupies a stand alone , purpose built clinic with an onsite, indoor heated pool.
The practice has a trusted reputation for providing accurate diagnosis and effective treatment.

60-70% of patients assessed have a spinal complaint and the average age tends to be over 40 with many patients presenting with co-morbitities and requiring differential diagnosis to prioritise treatment plans.

A strong emphasis on manual therapy treatment is supported by a focus on function and the practice is strongly supported by GP's and specialists.

Company History

A Physiotherapy clinic was first built on this site in 1979and principal physiotherapist, Mr Max Pfitzner, previous president of the APA (SA branch ) and physiotherapist for the Adelaide Crows Football Club and Norwood Football Club, presided over a practice with a strong emphasis on manual therapy, a key stone of treatment that continues today.
Current physiotherapy principal and owner, John Barron, joined Max in 1987 and became a co-director in 1996.
Fiona Mansfield has provided hydrotherapy, Dry Needling and exercise prescription for over 15 years at Eastwood Physiotherapy
Mark Jarrett, in his tenth year at Eastwood, has a Post Graduate qualification in Sports and Musculo-skeletal Physiotherapy
