Company Overview
Formed in 2006, Bodyfit NT is part of a larger Bodyfit Allied Health Group and has developed into a multidisciplinary company providing a comprehensive range of services. Bodyfit Allied Health has locations through the NT and Victoria, with a mission to continue to expand our services nationally. Using a case by case approach, our university qualified Exercise Physiology and Physiotherapy team use evidence based philosophy to ensure our clients get the best personalised service possible. Delivering programs designed to educate individuals on exercise therapy and mobility, our aim is to facilitate learning and work with our clients to treat and improve chronic conditions and lifestyle behaviours.
As the 2010 and 2011 National Exercise Physiology Practice of the Year winners, Bodyfit NT is founded upon a vision to enhance a person’s quality of life through exercise, health and wellbeing. Today, Bodyfit NT is in its 13th year and now visits over 20 remote Indigenous communities delivering Exercise Physiology and Physiotherapy programs. Coupled with a full rehabilitation gym and a team of in-house health professionals situated in Darwin and Palmerston.
Company History
Bodyfit NT was established in 2006 and the company is now in its 13th year. Kia Naylor (Bodyfit NT Executive Manager ) has grown the company from a one women enterprise to a sustainable and award-winning company with a fantastic team of over 20. With a strong passion in Indigenous health programs, Kia directed the company towards an extensive footprint servicing the rural and remote Indigenous communities of the NT. The first remote program being delivered in 2009 and now expanded to include over 25 programs and communities in the Top End and Central Australia delivering both Exercise Physiology and Physiotherapy services.
