Under our previous banner Renmark Physiotherapy Service, we've provided healthcare to Renmark and the wider Riverland region for almost 50 years.
Our rebrand as River Allied Health with the planned construction of our new purpose-built facilities, which will help support our expansion into a larger multi-disciplinary health care team with in-house disability access gymnasium and hydrotherapy pool.

About the Role
All experience levels and backgrounds are encouraged to apply, including those in their first year of work or those about to graduate.
The role may be tailored to meet your interests and expertise with generous remuneration relative to experience and abilities. We offer clear career and income progression pathways paired to realistic goals and expectations.
New graduates can look forward to regular and consistent support, education and personalized in-house professional education from our current team of Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists, who each have between 6 and 12 years of experience in a variety of fields including paediatrics, orthopaedics, musculoskeletal, occupational health, disability, hydrotherapy, strength and conditioning, persistent pain, Pilates, sports, aged care and neurological rehab.
Our team also includes support from 3x Allied Health Assistants and a consistent, supportive full time administrative and reception team.

- Professional access to full commercial gym, gymnasium and indoor aquatic therapy pool at the Alan Coulter Recreation Centre (2 minute drive or 5 minute walk from our clinic) for rehabilitation and exercise sessions with clients.
- We offer a $5,000 relocation support for clinicians moving to the local community from another region and who are committed to staying with Renmark Physiotherapy Service for at least 2 years (paid over 2 instalments; $2,500 at commencement first year and $2,500 at commencement of second year).
- Additional re-location grants are often available for regional allied health practitioners through the Rural Doctor Workforce Agency (RDWA) to assist with costs of moving and establishing in a new region.
- We provide a $1,500 annual contribution to your professional development.
- The RDWA also provides regular scholarships for regional practitioners to support ongoing professional development to benefit regional communities.
- We remunerate vehicle expenses when and where work travel is required.
- Provision of a company vehicle is possible by negotiation depending on your circumstances and your job role.
- An attractive, transparent pay structure with excellent initial base salary, clear methods of salary progression and options to increase to over $140,000 p/annum in a senior role.
- We have opportunities to expand services to facilitate you to work in the wider Riverland Region, if desirable.
- Opportunities for locum work at our sister multidisciplinary Allied Health clinic in Pt. Pirie, the “Thrive Health Centre”.

Requirements
Essential
Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration as a Physiotherapist (or pending registration for new graduates commencing work in 2025)
Australian Driver's License
Ability to build rapport with the clients and families you are working with
Contributes to our positive work culture and enjoys a laugh or two with colleagues
Prior to commencing work, the successful applicant will need to complete or update their Senior First Aid, CPR and relevant Police Checks. (Subsequent years these certificates and training are managed ‘in-house’).
Desirable
Experience in aged care sector
Willingness to travel to townships outside of Renmark for occasional worksite or home-based assessments.
Prior experience in aquatic physiotherapy, swimming instruction or lifeguarding.
Seeking to always further your clinical skills, no matter your level of experience
