About the Role
Your daily duties will include but not be limited to:
- Maintaining a patient caseload
- Complete associated clinical paperwork, including clinical note & report writing
- Achieve weekly KPIs
- Attend weekly and monthly scheduled meetings
- Complete monthly social media duties
- Follow patient & clinic protocols
- Attend one external PD course per year
- Patient care through physiotherapy assessments and treatments
- Liaising with team leader, administration, insurance case managers & NDIS plan managers for patient care coordination
Skills Required
- administering muscle, nerve, joint and functional ability tests to identify and assess physical problems of patients
- designing treatment programs to address patients' problems
- treating patients to reduce pain, improve circulation, strengthen muscles, improve cardiothoracic, cardiovascular and respiratory functions, restore joint mobility, and improve balance and coordination
- using the therapeutic properties of exercise, heat, cold, massage, manipulation & mobilisations as well as other manual therapies in the treatment of patients
- reviewing, continually monitoring, assessing and evaluating programs and treatments
- consulting with other Health Professionals as required about patients' problems, needs and progress
- instructing patients and their families in procedures to be continued at home
- recording treatments given and patients' responses and progress
- developing and implementing screening and preventative health promotion programs
Pay Details
Annual plus commission
Pay range AUD $90,000 – AUD $109,999
What We’re Looking For:
- A Physiotherapy degree and a current AHPRA registration
- A team-oriented mindset with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Expertise in physical assessments and designing personalised treatment plans
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A passion for promoting health and wellness, and pride in representing Illawarra Physiotherapy
