About the Role
VMCH is seeking two passionate Physiotherapists to join our Home Care team. These are 12-month full-time opportunities based in Wantirna, with travel across metropolitan Melbourne. You’ll help older adults stay active, independent, and living their best lives—all while enjoying great rewards, a supportive team, and a workplace that values positivity, growth, and community.
As part of our Allied Health team within the AHAC service, you’ll deliver evidence-based physiotherapy services to elderly clients under CHSP and HCP programs. These roles are pivotal in helping clients remain independent and safe in their homes and communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver tailored interventions aligned with aged care quality standards
- Collaborate with clients to identify goals and develop care plans
- Deliver group-based programs focused on cognition, balance, wellness, and reablement
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including nurses, occupational therapists, and care coordinators
- Maintain accurate documentation and meet billable hour targets
- Travel across aged care planning regions as required
About You
- Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and current AHPRA registration
- Strong clinical assessment and report writing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel across metropolitan Melbourne
- Valid Police Check and Australian working rights
