Description
Mandurah Pelvic Health require a compassionate and dedicated Pelvic Health Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team! Mandurah is a vibrant coastal town with beach and estuary activities, a hub of cafes and restuarants, and only 60 mins from Perth via car or train.
This role involves assessment and management of pelvic health conditions in women and men. Conditions include urinary and faecal incontinence, prolapse, pelvic pain, defecation dysfunctions, urinary and faecal urgency, sexual dysfunction, pregnancy and postnatal, abdominal muscle rehabilitation. There is scope to commence a paediatric service should the successful candidate possess these skills. We provide in house and external professional development opportunities. We also provide community education and engagement activities.
The successful candidate must be a team player, demonstrate effective time management and organisational skills, and compassion and empathy for clients with complex needs. Ideally the candidate would have Masters qualifications in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy, however we would consider someone who is currently studying this qualification or has extensive experience.
We have a strong referral base from local GPs and specialists, as well as Perth specialists. The role is flexible (full time or part time), remuneration can be salary or contract based depending on the desires of the successful candidate. Mandurah Pelvic Health is a well-established clinic of 7 years in the Mandurah region, with strong links to our local WA Pelvic Health Physiotherapy Network.
Requirements
Candidates must hold current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist.
This position is open to Australian citizens and permanent residents only.
A minimum of 6 months experience in pelvic health physiotherapy is required.
A Masters qualification in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy is desirable.
