About Us:
South East Pelvic Physio is a private practice specialising in Women’s, Men’s, and Pelvic Health, located in Pakenham. We’re a small but experienced team with a deep passion for all aspects of pelvic health. We have a strong referral network of local GPs and allied health professionals, and maintain excellent relationships with local Gynaecologists, Obstetricians, Urologists, and Gastroenterologists.
About the Role:
We’re seeking a Physiotherapist with experience in Women’s, Men’s, and Pelvic Health, who is qualified to perform internal examinations. This is a maternity leave cover position until June 2026, with the potential to continue beyond that date.
You’ll manage a varied caseload including incontinence, pregnancy-related issues, prostate cancer rehabiliatation, and pelvic pain. Your caseload will include private clients, Medicare EPC, DVA, and NDIS. You will work with tools such as real-time ultrasound and EMG biofeedback. Our clinicians treat women, men, and children, addressing everything from pregnancy-related back pain to complex bladder issues and pelvic pain. There’s also the opportunity to run telehealth sessions.
About You:
- AHPRA-registered Physiotherapist
- Postgraduate training in Pelvic Health / Women’s, Men’s, and Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy
- Qualified to perform internal (vaginal/rectal) examinations
- Experienced in assessing and treating pelvic floor dysfunction, including continence, pelvic pain, sexual health, and post-surgical rehabilitation
- Passionate about pelvic health
- Committed to providing holistic, client-centred, and trauma-informed care
- Private practice experience not required — we’ll support you as you settle in
- Comfortable treating both women and men (paediatric continence interest or experience is a bonus)
